Out and About in Laguna Beach, California.
Laguna Beach, home to LeFever Studio and TheSHACK where the majority of LeFever studio photography is shot.

LeFever Studio specializes in small to medium size commercial photography. 2006, however saw photo services expand to Environmental, Architectural, and Interior Design photography. Also expanded were Event Photography and Lifestyle Documentary.

And then there are those days of testing new equipment Out & About the town of Laguna Beach. LeFever is often out with a new camera or new lens testing the equipment for new photo possibilities. Only two blocks form the ocean, TheSHACK is located in one of the most beautiful places in California, "it is perfectly picturesque" states Lefever. Testing his gear on the beach and streets of his neighborhood helps LeFever practice for his many location assignments (besides Southern California, LeFever has been flown to Indiana, Missouri, Colorado, New York, and Paris).

LIVE SHOOTING PHILOSOPHY

LeFever likes to maintain a true to the scene depiction where ever he is shooting. "I like to get the shot that anyone would see if they were there with me at that moment. I like things natural and candid." says Lefever. For some places and some people that means heartbreaking sadness of the end of life. But in Laguna, it is easy for Lefever to find those postcard-esque shots, as they tend to be everywhere he looks. "Laguna is a spectacular place" and has been a favorite spot for painters and photographers for over a century.
