Too hot for the tongue!
A cold cold morning and a pot of overheated mashed potatoes make interesting conditions when the light is right.
"Really involved with computer work in the office, I could smell the potatoes burning in the studio kitchen. Leaving the office to rescue breakfast, a simple observation was compelling enough to set up a tripod, mount the camera and start shooting away," recalls LeFever. Ten minutes later, in the time it took for the potatoes to cool, LeFever had a series of moody shots... Such is the artist's life: seizing the moment.
