Tavonatti and Lefever shot together three previous times to capture reference for Mia's paintings. LeFever's sensitivity as a painter helps him tune into Tavonatti's reference needs. An organic evolution of ideas develops in the course of a shoot and the Tavonatti sessions make allowance for just that kind creative evolution. In this fourth meeting, Mia came with a few ideas to describe the shots she was hoping for to reference by - the rest was left up to LeFever to shoot as he saw things take shape. It was a happy collaboration to the say the least.
